You may be expecting an audio program form your iTunes library to show in Audio Footnote but it's not. If this is the case, please make sure that the Media Kind attribute for the file is set to either Podcast or Audiobook. This is done by right or control+clicking on the item in iTunes, selecting Get Info and changing the Media Kind attribute which is found under the Options tab.

You may need to take these steps when listening to audiobooks ripped from CD, podcast episodes that were downloaded from the web, or other media files obtained from outside the iTunes Store. This issue does not apply to books downloaded from Audible.com.
